Eve's Experience

My name is Eve, I am 44 years old, I was menopausal but apparently not now, 5 foot 6, trim, blonde and large breasted naturally. I am single at this time, but in a relationship with a sweet guy who loves my lactation and adult nursing. We are not together all the time so most of the time I am on my own. He enjoys the nursing aspect when we are together and finds the small amount of milk in my breasts very exciting and encourages me to no end. Since I first learned about this, I have felt that I just had to do it and I have been inducing for the past 6 months. I love how I feel doing this.

I lost 30 pounds over the past two years through exercise and caloric control, eating mostly vegetarian style. It has really helped me to feel healthy and active and wanting to be younger in other ways as well. I stumbled on the concept of inducing lactation and decided I would like to try this as it fit with my new more youthful self.

My Inducing Experience

In my first month of inducing I simply used a Medela single pump that I bought. After about a month of pumping a few times a day (4x, 15 min each side, sometimes longer as I'd fall asleep at night with the pump on, wake up switch sides, then go back to sleep), I found the process relaxing, emotionally calming and erotic. I had been suffering from hot flashes and spikes of anger, and these dissipated as my breast stimulation increased.

One early effect was breast enlargement and I searched and found really soft brassieres with front closures. (I recommend: DecentExposures.com - a web page of quality bras designed by women.) My breasts became painfully engorged, yet little fluid, but I persisted.

After two months I noticed wetness and occasional drops of yellowish fluid, and was amused to see that one breast was consistently more productive than the other. I found my hands would tire after only a few minutes of Marmet hand massage, and became inseparable from my portable Medela "swing pump". I was going through batteries about once a week. I used the AC adapter when I could, but I loved the lightness of being able to carry it around sans bottles. I'm still looking for a double pump to save time, but I still like my little portable friend.

In the third month, and after a lot of research, I purchased some DOM, had it shipped to my home address, and very gradually added it to my vitamins, starting at three a day, and over a month working my way up to six a day, and by the forth month increasing it to 8 or 9 a day, spread out through the day. As we age, we lose some of the acid in our stomachs anyway, so I wanted to be careful to be fully digesting my food. I took care to take the DOM between meals.

I then gradually added fenugreek seed herbal pills from my local natural food store. I was concerned about the pain of engorgement feelings, my breasts are sensitive, and I feel best when I gradually increase such effects. I started off with three a day, then six, and now about 8 or 9 pills a day, spread out during the day, and I worry less about taking fenugreek with or without food.

Lastly, I ordered some Progesterone cream. Now there's a lot of literature, much of it from Dr. Lee, about balancing Progesterone in women before and after menopause. I won't restate it all, but I was mindful that I was likely Estrogen dominant, and probably had been most of my life. (I wish I read some of this stuff when I was in my 20s and 30s.) The cream had a dramatic effect over about a week or so. I was very careful to increase my dosage by tiny increments to where I was comfortable dabbing a teaspoon or so over my body. I put it sometimes on my face and arms, sometimes on my chest, sometimes on my legs, or even, amusingly, between my legs. I took careful note of the amounts and was mindful that it was probably being stored in my fat cells as well. After about 8 weeks of usage suddenly my period returned, and I was feeling 10 years younger. Meanwhile, I was running about 5 miles a week, taking sailing lessons, doing situps and pushups at home, walking to work and riding my bike a lot, staying as active as I could. I feel better than I have in many years and definitely more feminine and sexy.

So now, it's been five months. I consistently get "wet" nipples when I pump and can hand express about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon from each side. I still seem to favor my left side for some reason although I try to stay balanced. I sympathize with the comments and problems other women have expressed about stimulating or pumping while at work. I've tried various things like hand massage (discretely in my own office), using the ladies room, closing my office door, and yes, even taking a car break in a nice park. I keep a large sweater or blanket handy to cover up. I originally breastfed two baby girls, so I am pretty familiar with discreetly covering my breasts while milking them.

My guy partner/friend is thrilled, and urges me onward, and I think the limiting factors remain, as has been said many times here, the frequency and duration of "attention." For me there simply is not enough free time to milk my breasts as much as I'd like, but every little bit helps. I get a tingling "letdown" at least twice day, usually three times a day, and often (weekends and travel days) four times a day in association with the various forms of stimulation that I do. I pump in the morning, as I wake up and listen to the radio, and at night as I fall asleep. I try to take a lunch break that includes some breast manipulation time, and often pump as soon as I get home, and then again before I fall asleep. If I could, I would do it every two hours, but with a single pump that means almost an hours worth of work, and I simply can't give up 12 hours a day to pumping, as much as that sounds like fun.

I am content with my progress, as I was encouraged to be patient. I think for me the Progesterone cream really helped with my hormonal balance, although research was essential to encourage me to understand my own body. The herbs have pushed me to continue progress when the pumping wasn't enough to do any more than just enlargement. I want to say again that I made gradual progress. I was thrilled when my nipples just got wet, then amazed when they produced a few drops, surprised when the progress was uneven, and confident when I began to really understand the Progesterone effects. Pumping alone was not enough, but it got me started. Nowadays I pump, creating wetness, then hand express to successfully actually get the milky white fluid to come out in drops. I look forward to having enough to spray it out, someday, but I'm patient. Going too fast can feel just as uncomfortable as going too slow, especially when I'm doing it mostly alone.

Bottom line, my health is better than it has been in decades, and my confidence level is high. I'm only slightly embarrassed that I'm a 34 DD or 34 E. I have to carefully choose blouses that aren't too sexy for my conservative office! Heheee. Still, every night, I enjoy the relaxing effects, and my sex drive has evened out. Lastly, I always did, and still do, get a great kick out of those ads that ask: "got milk?" Yes, and if they only knew….
